Every name at elli·per·elli tells a little story. What sounds poetic at first glance actually has its roots in nature and in blueberries. All our products bear the names of real blueberry varieties. Blue Moon
"Once in a blue moon"! An expression for something rare. And that's exactly how Blue Moon works: like a moment for you that's out of the ordinary. The name refers to a special variety with a rare ripening time and gives our night care its poetic resonance.

The name comes from one of the world's most famous blueberry varieties. Bred in New Jersey in 1941, it is considered particularly productive and resilient.
